Susan Vinnicombe, CBE, Cranfield School of Management

Susan’s particular research interests are gender diversity on corporate boards, women’s leadership styles, and the issues involved in women developing their managerial careers. Her research centre at Cranfield University is unique in Europe with its focus on women leaders and the annual Female FTSE Report is regarded as the premier research resource on women directors in the UK.

Gelong Thubten, Buddhist Monk and Mindfulness Specialist

Gelong Thubten studied English Literature at Oxford, and became a Buddhist monk 23 years ago. He is based at Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. Thubten teaches on Buddhism, meditation and mindfulness internationally. He is a Trustee of ROKPA INTERNATIONAL, a humanitarian aid charity, and a Director of Samye Foundation Wales and Samye Yorkshire, UK.

Keynote Speaker: Dee Forbes, Director-General, RTÉ

Prior to taking up her role at RTÉ in July, Dee Forbes was based in London and over 27 years, worked for broadcasters and advertising agency Young and Rubicam. Most recently she was President & Managing Director of Discovery Networks Northern Europe.
