Paula Murphy and Siobhán Grogan have been appointed Co-Managing Directors of content marketing agency, Zahra. Paula previously headed up Zahra’s Food Content Marketing division, while Siobhán spearheaded the agency’s Custom Content Marketing team, responsible for its portfolio of non-food brands. Paula will drive the company’s new business strategy as part of her new role, while Siobhán will be responsible for organic growth, and the duo will share the day-to-day agency operations.

A former pastry chef, Paula Murphy joined the Bray-based agency in 2015 where she started as an editorial intern, before progressing to various roles in the Custom Content Marketing division including Account Director and Head of Food. Her unique blend of food and content strategy expertise lends well to brands – particularly in the food and foodservice space – who wish to connect with their audiences in an impactful way.

Siobhán Grogan joined the team in 2020 as Content Marketing Manager and was later promoted to Account Director, followed by Head of Custom Content. Prior to this, she specialised in PR having worked in Teneo, Dublin, before travelling to Australia to gain experience in an international market. Siobhán’s passion for storytelling and expertise in crafting compelling narratives benefits clients seeking to enhance reputation and engage with their key audiences.

According to Gina Miltiadou, Co-founder and Director at ZahraJohn Mullins and I launched Zahra more than two decades ago, during which time we’ve nurtured and grown two of Ireland’s beloved media brands – easy Food and everymum.ie. Following the sale of everymum to the DMG group last year, John and I took a moment to reflect and decided it was the perfect time to pursue new ventures in various industries. As we began to slowly step back from the everyday management of Zahra, our team impressively rose to the occasion, driving the business forward. We are now ready to transition into advisory and executive roles on the Board, paving the way for new leadership.

Paula and Siobhán, both of whom are exceptionally talented and have demonstrated outstanding leadership, are ready and able to take Zahra to exciting new heights.

John and I are thrilled about this new phase in Zahra’s journey and are confident in their ability to excel in their new roles.”
