Network Ireland West Cork – Seeking Applications
4th April 2024

Network Ireland West Cork (NIWC) is seeking applications for its prestigious Businesswoman of the Year awards. The closing date for entries is Friday, 19th April at 6 p.m.
Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year awards are designed to recognise the achievements of women across the professional and entrepreneurial spectrum. The awards are divided into 8 categories and there is a category suitable for every professional woman.
Speaking about the upcoming awards, Sandra Maybury, President of Network Ireland West Cork said:
“The Network Ireland West Cork Businesswoman of Year awards are one of the highlights of our business year. I would like to encourage businesswomen in the region, both self-employed and employees, to share their story by entering – the awards represent a unique opportunity for women to take stock of their progress, celebrate their success and secure great publicity within traditional and social media outlets – all of which helps them be more visible to the future opportunities. We look forward to celebrating at our awards lunch on Friday 24th May at Inchydoney Hotel.”
In 2024, Network Ireland will run 17 local branch finals. The winners of these branch finals will go forward to represent their branch at national level. Winners are chosen by a panel of business experts based on the information supplied in the application form.
Judges are looking for women who understand business, who are passionate about their career/business, and who show a determination to succeed no matter what life throws at them. The judges for the Network Ireland West Cork awards include: Aisling Riordan, Corporate Communications Manager at Global Shares – a J.P. Morgan company; Declan Daly, Team Lead in AIB for SME Business in West Cork and Lisa Finn, Business Advisor with the Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West.
