Anne Sheehan, General Manager, Enterprise Commercial Western Europe, Microsoft

In February Anne Sheehan, General Manager of Microsoft Ireland confirmed that she was moving to a new role within the organisation.
Earlier today she announced:
“I’m delighted to share that I’ve just started a new role in Microsoft as General Manager of Enterprise Commercial for Western Europe, with responsibility for driving digital transformation, AI adoption, and strategic partnerships with our most significant commercial customers and partners across Western Europe.”
Anne was GM of Microsoft Ireland since October 2021. Before joining Microsoft, she was Enterprise Director at Vodafone UK.
On her Microsoft experience, Anne said: “I’ve had such an incredible few years since joining Microsoft, working in a company with ground-breaking innovation and amazing people. So I’d like to say a big thanks to my colleagues, customers, partners, and all others who’ve made this such an amazing experience so far.”
She will continue to support Irish customers as part of her new role.
Anne spoke with great enthusiasm and authenticity at WMB’s 15th annual Conference & Awards back in October. She admits to having ‘high energy and high passion’. As a leader and female role model, her expertise will continue to be a great asset at Microsoft where change is constant and fast-paced.
“I’m very energised about this new opportunity to work closely with each country in Microsoft’s Western Europe group, enabling bold innovation in this new era of AI,” she concluded.
