The Votes are in! Finalists and regional winners announced for the 10th annual Just Eat Awards
12th February 2024

The nation has spoken. Over 47,500 members of the public have voted for their most loved restaurants, grocery and convenience stores that partner with Ireland’s leading on demand food delivery platform, Just Eat.
Twenty eight Just Eat partners have been shortlisted across a total of ten categories for the 10th annual Just Eat Awards, including the ‘Best of Ireland’ category, which recognises brands that produce incredible dishes that are delivered to people’s doors across the country.

Judges JP McMahon, Erica Drum and Nico Reynolds.
To mark a decade of recognising the hard work and innovation of its partners, which have grown to 3,600 across the country, Just Eat has teamed up with renowned Irish chefs Nico Reynolds, Erica Drum and JP McMahon to judge the coveted ‘Best of Ireland’ category. Three of the nation’s favourite restaurants, Birdhouse in Galway, Amigo in Waterford, and Dublin Pizza Company, will share a selection of dishes from their menu for TV chef and cookery tutor Erica, pop up chef Nico, as well as restaurateur and author JP, to taste before they crown one as the ‘Best of Ireland’.
The winners will all be revealed by TV presenter and podcaster Muireann O’Connell at a ceremony in the Marker Hotel, Dublin next month.
With an abundance of restaurants offering mouth-watering meals for delivery across Ireland, Just Eat has enlisted foodie and social media star, Cassie Stokes to visit each of the ‘Best of Ireland’ finalists and document what makes each one so special. Cassie is well known for her ongoing quest to find Ireland’s best food on social media, and a brand-new video series of her visits to Amigo, Dublin Pizza Company, and Birdhouse will launch in the coming weeks on Just Eat and Cassie’s Instagram pages, @justeatie and @cassiestokes. A flavour of what to expect is now available to watch on Just Eat’s Instagram page here.
Commenting on the announcement of this year’s finalists and the judges of the ‘Best of Ireland’ category, Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director of Just Eat Ireland said: “Over 47,500 votes have been cast by the Irish public for their favourite restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores, and we are delighted to announce the finalists and regional winners of this year’s Just Eat Awards. We are proud to commend our phenomenal partners at the 10th annual Just Eat Awards, for their dedication to delivering amazing food and service to communities nationwide.
To celebrate ten historic years recognising our partners, we have teamed up with culinary experts Erica Drum, Nico Reynolds, and JP McMahon, who will decide the winner of this year’s ‘Best of Ireland’ category. I don’t envy JP, Erica, and Nico as they select one winner to take home the top prize, although I am very envious that they’ll get the chance to try all of their mouth-watering dishes! We look forward to revealing the winners and celebrating at the awards next month.”
