BOI’s Susan Russell Joins the Board of BPFI

Susan Russell, chief executive of the Bank of Ireland Group’s Irish retail banking division, has joined the Board of Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI).
Susan Russell said: “I’m excited to take up this role at such an important time for the financial services sector, which employs over 100,000 people in Ireland and is critical to our economy and society. I look forward to working with my fellow directors and the rest of the BPFI team to ensure that a strong and sustainable retail banking sector continues to support Ireland’s future economic development and its green transition.”
Susan joined Bank of Ireland in 2000 and was appointed to her current role as chief executive of the Group’s Irish Retail banking division in July 2023. She has previously held senior positions in Retail Banking, Finance, Digital, Strategy and Operations.
