Social Entreprise, FoodCloud was established in 2013 by Iseult Ward and Aoibheann O’Brien, with a shared vision that no good food should go to waste. Fast forward to our duo’s latest innovative project – The FoodCloud Kitchen, Ireland’s first zero waste food truck.

The FoodCloud Kitchen uses excess surplus food from the FoodCloud Hubs that would otherwise go to waste as ingredients to prepare a delicious food offering to citizens, community organisations and corporate partners at festivals, events or special occasions.

The FoodCloud Kitchen not only serves delicious food that helps save the planet but comes with a generous side of social impact as all profits go back into FoodCloud’s core activity of redistributing surplus food to over 600 community and voluntary organisations across Ireland.
The FoodCloud Kitchen is the perfect way to spread awareness about the global problem of food waste and its impact on our climate and to inspire everyone to take action!

Colm Burke, former head chef at Cafe Rua Castlebar, has joined the FoodCloud team and is channelling his creativity to prepare spectacular surplus meals and products. Every menu will depend on what excess surplus is available. The Kitchen caters for all types of events including Corporate Sustainability Days, Launch Parties, Team Building, CSR Events and Christmas occasions. Help your support this fantastic initiative by booking The FoodCloud Kitchen for your next event.
