Lorna Conn has been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer at Cpl as founder Anne Heraty steps down from the role after 31 years. Lorna joined Cpl in 2017 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and became Deputy Chief Executive Officer in April 2021.

“I am delighted that Lorna is stepping into this role,” said Anne Heraty. “We have worked closely together since Lorna joined Cpl. I know that the special ethos and culture that we have always prided ourselves on are reflected in Lorna’s outlook and her plans for the company.  I am immensely proud of how far Cpl has come since its foundation and that growth was enabled by the deeply talented and committed team I have been privileged to work with.  Lorna has excelled since she joined Cpl and together with the executive team will work to evolve and expand the company as it enters a new phase of growth”.

In January 2021, Cpl was acquired by Outsourcing Inc, a Tokyo headquartered public company with a global sourcing and delivery network of 250+ sister companies, operating in 39 countries.

“It is an honour to take on this role,” said Lorna Conn. “Cpl is such an Irish success story.  Anne has taken the company from its inception to the award winning, diverse and now international company it is today. She fostered a very special culture of empowering our people and developing strong partnerships with our clients. From this firm foundation I intend to bring the company forward into a new and exciting phase, leveraging the global reach of Outsourcing Inc to create new opportunities for expansion and evolution. Our clients are at the core of everything we do and we will continue to help them navigate the new world of work, connecting them with the best talent in the marketplace and helping them create workforce solutions that positively impact their business success”.

Cpl has over 15,000 employees, operating in multiple countries world-wide.  Anne Heraty will retain her non-executive role on the Global Board of Outsourcing Inc.
