Focused on nourishing individuality in all women and supporting a feeling of confidence and connection, Mise Tusa is a sustainable, ethical and locally produced clothing collection created by Meritta Gorman-Geoghegan & Bridget Geoghegan. Harnessing over
40 years’ experience in design to create collections that combines timeless design, elevated quality and Irish practicality in their Studio in the west of Ireland.

Newly rebranded, Mise Tusa was previously well known as Ail Ruin but when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and the shop closed, it enabled Meritta and Bridget to refocus their brand. Previously Ail Ruin was primarily focused on the individual customer experience in the store and primarily used the website and social media as a portfolio rather than a focus on ecommerce.

Mise Tusa will be different, as it is more scalable especially with the addition of their new ‘movement line’, which is a functional clothing line spired by Covid-19 living – the clothing has been designed to take you from yoga in the morning, through to Zoom meetings and your evening walk with ease, comfort and style.

With the help of Local Enterprise Office Galway, Meritta and Bridget availed of the Trading Online Voucher and the business expansion grant as well as mentorship and training. This has helped them develop a new ecommerce website and are looking forward to trading online from Autumn/winter 2021.
