Board Excellence Appoints Anne-Marie Taylor as Partner

Board Excellence is pleased to announce the appointment of Anne-Marie Taylor as Partner, joining the team of seven partners of the leading board consulting practice.
Anne-Marie is an experienced business leader and Non-Executive Director, serving on boards including the Public Appointments Service, Irish Hospice Foundation and UCD Governing Authority.
With a specific interest in promoting gender diversity among boards and women in leadership roles, Anne-Marie is the co-founder of the Board Diversity Initiative which produces a directory of senior women suitable for board roles. Anne-Marie also held a position as Programme Director of Balance for Better Business, a government-sponsored, business-led initiative that aims to improve gender balance in senior business leadership in Ireland. Since the initiative was established in 2018, the representation of women on the boards of the top 20 listed companies in Ireland has improved from 18% to 30%.
Most of Anne-Marie’s executive career was with Accenture where she held positions including Consulting Senior Executive, Director of Operations and Director of Human Resources.
Founded in 2016, Board Excellence is one of Ireland’s leading board consulting practices supporting a wide range of client boards across all sectors, both in Ireland, UK and internationally. Anne-Marie’s primary role is to lead the firm’s new Non-Executive Director Search Service.
