Gillian O’Sullivan – New Country Leader for BearingPoint in Ireland

Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint has announced the appointment of Gillian O’Sullivan as the firm’s new Country Leader for Ireland.

BearingPoint is an independent management and technology consultancy and clients include many of the world’s leading companies and organisations. The firm has a global consulting network with more than 10,000 people and supports clients in over 70 countries, engaging with them to achieve measurable and sustainable success. In her new role, Gillian will be responsible for leading a local team of 300 people, supporting consultancy and technology implementation to deliver sustainable results, locally and internationally. She will also be a core member of the BearingPoint regional leadership team covering Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Gillian has been working with BearingPoint since 2004 having joined as a software developer and progressed to lead the Development team.  Following her appointment as Partner in the Firm in 2016, Gillian subsequently became lead Partner with responsibility for Technology Delivery, working on IT strategy and transformation projects at both the country and international level. In addition to this role, Gillian was most recently the Firm-wide Head of Diversity.  During her time at BearingPoint, Gillian has worked across numerous leadership roles delivering for clients across several industries including public sector, financial services and pharmaceutical.

A native of Dublin, Gillian is a Trinity College Dublin graduate having qualified with a degree in  Management Science and Information Systems Studies.
