Dorothy Coffey, GM Ops & Safety at Cork Airport

In September, Dorothy Coffey was appointed as the new General Manager of Operations & Safety at Cork Airport. She joins Cork Airport’s senior leadership team with over 18 years of aviation and safety experience from Swissport, where her most recent role was as Regional Manager, Ireland.
Dorothy has overall responsibility for Airport Operations, Fire Service, Asset Management and Safety. Speaking on her new position, she said: “I am delighted to join the innovative and diligent team at Cork Airport. I look forward to bringing my experience and knowledge in resource management to the team, further strengthening the operational excellence and safety culture that are already in place.”
Cork Airport’s passenger numbers are forecast to reach 2.6 million this year. Over 50 routes are now on offer from Cork Airport across the UK and Continental Europe, along with daily long-haul connectivity through major European hub airports in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid and Zurich.
