Triona Mullane of mAdme Technologies Emerges Trimphant

Limerick’s Triona Mullane of mAdme Technologies has been named the EY Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year™ at the annual awards ceremony, attended by prominent business leaders and the Minister of Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donohoe TD.

Collectively the 24 finalists of this year’s programme employ more than 13,000 people and have revenues of €1.2bn.

A native of Co. Limerick, Triona Mullane is the Founder and CEO of mAdme Technologies which she started in 2013. The mAdme Customer Experience Platform is used by major Mobile Operators in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean and Latin America. It forms an integral part of their Digital Transformation and Customer Experience strategies. The company provides a new, highly innovative and patent-pending mobile capability for engaging with customers and is active on over 200 Million phones globally.  mAdme, headquartered in Dublin, with offices in Mumbai and New York. Prior to founding mAdme, Triona was the CTO of NewBay Software (acquired by Blackberry in 2011) and she was also previously CTO for Logica North America (after the acquisition of Aldiscon by Logica).

Richard Kennedy, who leads the agri-technology company Devenish, was named Overall and EY International Entrepreneur Of The Year™.  Pat McDonagh, founder of Supermac’s, one of Ireland’s leading restaurant chains; the Só Hotel Group; and six motor way and national route service stations, was named EY Industry Entrepreneur Of The Year™.
