LinkedIn Ireland Expands

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional social network, has marked the milestone of growing its Irish membership to two million people by announcing that it is creating 800 new jobs which will bring its headcount at its Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) HQ in Wilton Place in Dublin to 2,000 people by summer next year.
The expansion is a result of ongoing growth of its business. Recruitment of the new positions has already commenced. There are over 100 roles open today in areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, finance and analytics. The balance of positions to be filled by summer next year.
Head of the Irish entity is Sharon McCooey who is also a Senior Director of the Company’s International Relations department and founding member of Linkedin in Ireland back in 2010.
