Ethna Gallagher Joins Edwards Lifesciences’ Operations in Ireland

Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, the global leader in patient-focused innovations for structural heart disease and critical care monitoring, has appointed Ethna Gallagher as Head of Supply Chain for its operations in Ireland. In this role, Ethna will coordinate the operations position within Edward Lifesciences global supply network.
Headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, and employing more than 12,000 people globally, Edwards Lifesciences recently announced the National Technology Park, Castletroy, Limerick, as the location of its new permanent facility, which will over the next several years result in an estimated €80m investment and 600 jobs in the Mid-West of Ireland.
Ethna is a highly experienced Corporate Director and joins the Edwards Lifesciences team with more than 27 years’ experience of working with high-tech global companies in Ireland. For the past seven years Ethna has worked in Bio-Medical Research Limited (BMR), a medical device company based in Galway. Prior to BMR Ethna achieved significant career progression within Wang, Intel and Dell Computers, having progressed from graduate engineer to Supply Chain Director.
Ethna holds an Honours Degree in Industrial Engineering from University College, Galway, Ireland and is APICS Certified.
Edwards Lifesciences is currently hiring for its initial facility in Shannon and its permanent facility in National Technology Park, Castletroy, Limerick, which will open in 2021. You can find out more here>>
