Team Ireland’s arrival coincides with the growing presence of the company’s products throughout Europe and its rapid expansion into Ireland as an ever-increasing number of hoteliers recognise the benefits of cloud-based technology. Led by country manager Clio O’Gara, an internationally experienced hospitality expert, team Ireland’s appointment further strengthens Guestline’s position as a global market leader. Plus, with a host of new client wins, signals the growth of technology in the sector and the brand’s committed presence in Ireland.
Clio O’Gara – Country Manager Ireland
A diverse and award-winning career in the hospitality industry accompanies Clio O’Gara to Guestline as she takes the helm as Country Manager. Over the past three decades, Clio has served in many capacities and her career has taken her all over the globe including Paris, Brussels and the Channel Islands, giving her invaluable international experience which, she now brings to her role at Guestline. Previously, Clio held Director roles throughout Ireland with Gleneagle Group, Bewley’s Hotels, Lynch Hotels, Tower Hotel Group and with SoftBrands Inc. and she is a recognised expert within the industry with unrivalled connections and knowledge of the hospitality sector.
As Country Manager, Clio will lead eam Ireland in its Irish market dominance, driving growth and raising awareness of Guestline’s portfolio of solutions. Plus, educating hoteliers on cloud-based technology and meeting the growing demand for market leading software that supports efficiencies and profitability.
Una Connolly – Business Development Manager
Una’s extensive sales and technology experience best positions her to lead the business development strategies for Guestline. Over the past decade, Una has held top roles including, with ResDiary, as Ireland Country Manager, exceeding targets, boosting their customer base from 30 to 300, delivering a 10-fold growth on revenue subscriptions and increasing the brand’s market dominance. In addition, she held a seven-year stint as Sales Manager with The Church Bar, Restaurant & Tourist Attraction Dublin, plus 5 year’s international experience working for The Briar Group in Boston.
As Business Development Manager, Una will be responsible for delivering sales and revenue growth, identifying key opportunities to grow the Guestline brand in Ireland and developing relationships with industry partners.
Denis Hurley – Regional Implementation Specialist Ireland
Denis brings an extensive background in hospitality, 11+ years’ experience and specialist industry knowledge to his role as Regional Implementation Specialist at Guestline. Having previously held positions of Front Office Manager, Revenue Manger, Rooms Division Manager and Deputy General Manager at Jurys Hotel Group and Intercontinental Hotel Group in both Ireland and the UK, Denis’ real time operational experience best places him to lead the installation and training of Guestline’s award-winning PMS across Ireland.
As Implementation Specialist, Denis will be responsible for the smooth installation of Guestline’s PMS software, ensuring hotels are fully trained and confident in using the system, from front desk staff, right through to senior management. His in- depth knowledge of the PMS system and software, combined with his previous hotel management experience, positions him as the go-to expert, providing advice and consultancy to clients on how best to maximise and get the best return on their system investment.
Grace Duggan – Business Development Executive
Grace’s strong background with customer service and care, having held roles with leading banks and customer led businesses, brings her to her new role as Business Development Executive at Guestline. From her customer service advisory role at Bank of Ireland to operations at LoyaltyBuild, Grace is well versed in managing customer service strategies, delivering customer centric experiences and developing customer care offerings.
As Business Development Executive, Grace will be responsible for customer relations across the company’s existing clients and assisting the team to grow the Guestline presence in Ireland, including striving to showcase Guestline as a technology partner that not only offers market-leading technology but also the highest level of customer service and client retention.
