The Power of Role Models

19th June 2018

WMB were delighted to see so many familiar names appear on WXN’s recent top 25 Award Winners list.  In particular, we congratulate Lisa Dillon (pictured), General Manager of the EMEA Digital Sales Centre, Microsoft (who is our current WMB Businesswoman of the Year Award recipient). There’s no doubt that Ireland certainly has some amazing role models – it’s vital that we, as women, put ourselves forward for these types of initiatives.  After all, together we are stronger.

The WXN Top 25 Awards span the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, with the initial candidates selected by WXN’s Proxy Committee – Helen Tynan (Google),  Fionnuala O’Leary (INM), Alma Curran (Medtronic),  Margaret Clapham (Sodexo),  Liz Cunningham (Google), and Sarah Claxton (ESB). To mark this year’s awards, WXN hosted an Awards Gala at the InterContinental Hotel in Dublin, during which the winners received their awards.
