Sarah Connellan COO EY Ireland

EY Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Connellan as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Sarah joined EY in November 2014 and for the past three years, has been a Tax Partner in the People Advisory Services group, leading a team of 40 tax professionals. Sarah has also been involved in a range of client and operational roles focused on innovation, new products, practice development, procurement and financial management. Most recently, she has co-led the firm’s innovative approach to reward.
Sarah will maintain key client facing work advising leading Irish and multinational employers on all employment tax and HR matters relevant to employees and directors which is crucial in today’s globally-integrated, tightly-regulated and increasingly-competitive business environment.
Sarah commented: “I’m delighted to take on the COO role and be a member of EY’s leadership team. This is a time of significant opportunity for EY with so much social and technological change and opportunity. I am excited to do my part to ensure that EY Ireland continues to adapt innovatively with the market and continue our growth trajectory”
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science, in Management from Trinity College Dublin and is a Chartered Tax Advisor, with the Irish Taxation Institute.
