Ahead of International Women’s Day 2018, Network Ireland Cork Branch will host ‘Media Mavens – On Air, Online, On Print, On Screen, On Set’ on Wednesday 7th March at 6pm in the Imperial Hotel.
The event will focus on the stories of successful women working in the Irish media landscape, followed by a short panel discussion. Guest speakers on the evening will include; Janet Traynor, IFTA winning director & producer of programmes such as Prime Time and The Clinic, Esther McCarthy, life/style editor at the Irish Examiner, Jill O’Sullivan, editor at BreakingNews.ie, and Alison Nulty, broadcaster, journalist & crisis communications specialist. Guest MC and ‘On Air’ expert will be Deirdre O’Shaughnessy of Cork’s 96FM.
President of Network Ireland Cork Branch, Karen Fleming said: “As an organisation, we’re continuing to go from strength to strength and we’re delighted to welcome these influential female speakers to the stage to further inspire our attendees.
