Hanover Expands Dublin Base
14th June 2017
Independent strategic communications consultancy Hanover has appointed a new advisor for their Dublin offices. Dr. Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, barrister and former Fine Gael legal advisor, will join the Dublin team and provide strategic insight and advice to their rapidly growing portfolio of blue chip clients.
Dr. Carroll MacNeill (pictured right), whose work on judicial appointment procedures was much lauded in the Irish press, is a legal, political, and academic consultant. A barrister and former solicitor, her clients include government departments, government officials and industry interest groups.
She was also Special Advisor to two senior government Ministers and is the former Legal Adviser to Enda Kenny TD during his time as Leader of the opposition. She is the author of the politics of Judicial Selection in Ireland, and a Basil Chubb Prize Winner for the best PhD thesis in politics in Ireland in 2015. She is an advisor to the UCD Nova Institute Consult UCD, a Board member of the Collins Institute (a Dublin based think tank) and a member of the Committee to Monitor the Effectiveness of the Garda Youth Diversion Programme.
Speaking of her new appointment, Carroll MacNeill said, “Hanover is an international communications advisory firm of considerable experience, insight and repute and I am delighted to work with them as a strategic advisor.”
Growing demand from current and new clients for a pan-European offering has resulted in Hanover Dublin expanding to larger offices in Fitzwilliam Square to accommodate the rapidly growing team. This comes as a direct result of Hanover Dublin being ahead of initial revenue and client base targets set for the office in January.
Commenting on the announcement, Lorna Jennings (pictured left) Managing Director of Hanover Dublin said, “I’m delighted to announce the expansion of the team, with some great new hires. Hanover Dublin’s growth has exceeded our expectations and we are ahead of target after six months. I am excited to see what the rest of the year holds and I am confident we have the team to continue to exceed our ambitions for the Dublin market.”
