Irish designer Anna Nielson will be in Greystones Co. Wicklow on 23rd November to launch Kilkenny Shop’s new 1,300 square foot store on Church Road, which opened today.

This is Kilkenny Group’s 15th store and they now employ more than 280 people nationally, with 7 new people recently employed in Greystones. The group also recently opened a new store in Ennis.

The new Kilkenny store is welcome news for Greystones, who are excited to see continued investment in the region. It is also welcome news for Irish designers as it brings new opportunities for them to grow and expand, as Kilkenny continues to raise the profile and awareness of Irish Design throughout Ireland.  The Irish family-run business has been promoting Irish design for more than 50 years.

“Greystones has superb restaurants, unique specialist shops, a great tourism offering, and most importantly of all, a really supportive community – all of which led to our decision to invest here.  As an Irish company, we are very proud to promote traditional Irish crafts and our customers take pride in buying Irish.  We hope to support more local craft makers and designers in the Wicklow region over the coming years, as this year we committed to growing our Irish offering even further,” said CEO Marian O’Gorman, who will also attend the launch event.
