CMRF Crumlin Appoints Lisa-Nicole Dunne as New CEO

CMRF Crumlin announced the appointment of Lisa-Nicole Dunne as its new CEO. 

CMRF Crumlin enables the best possible outcomes for sick children by providing vital funding and support to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre.

Approximately 140,000 children visit Crumlin hospital each year and these patients and their families often have to face months of treatment, disruption and worry. In her new role, Lisa-Nicole will ensure that despite the plans for a new hospital, that significant funding is available to continue investing into world-class paediatric research, clinical trials and cutting edge treatments, as well as supporting existing infrastructure and investing in equipment for the little heroes and their parents who cannot wait until the new hospital doors open.

Lisa-Nicole brings over 18 years’ experience in commercial sales, brand development and leadership in roles with BMW Group Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent. She has worked in the non-for profit sector since 2009 raising over €40 million for charitable purposes working with Focus Ireland and UNICEF Ireland. Lisa-Nicole is currently a Charities Institute Ireland board member and a previous board member of Children Direct and Fundraising Ireland.

She was recognised as a DCU Alumni of the year in 2015, and professional fundraiser of the year in 2013. Lisa-Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCD, a diploma in psychology and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Dublin City University which she completed in 2002.
