Mary Rose Burke Named CEO of Dublin Chamber of Commerce

Dublin Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Mary Rose Burke as its new CEO.

Mary Rose will take up the role with Dublin Chamber in late October, having spent the past three years as Director of Strategy, International & Corporate affairs with Ibec. She takes over from Gina Quin who departed Dublin Chamber last month to become President of the National College of Ireland.

Mary Rose has extensive experience in business. Her previous roles include Director of Pharmacy with Boots Ireland and establishing and running various businesses. Reflecting on her appointment, she said: “I am honoured and excited to have been selected to lead Dublin Chamber of Commerce and I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to utilise my skills to promote the Chamber and support its members to be successful in a successful Dublin. I am looking forward to reaching out soon to Chamber members and other businesses to hear from them about the kind of Chamber they want to see, to make a positive difference in the growth and prosperity of Dublin for all its communities.”

Mary Rose is a pharmacy graduate of Trinity College Dublin, and qualified with an MBA from UCC. She has a Diploma in Company Direction (Institute of Directors). She has previously been a Board member of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Chambers Ireland. Mary Rose lives in Dublin with her husband and five children.
