JUST EAT Joins Forces With Girl Crew
20th May 2016
JUST EAT, one of Ireland’s takeaway app, has become the ‘Official Takeaway App’ for GirlCrew, the community group which facilitates social meet ups for women across Ireland, in an exciting partnership that will see JUST EAT supporting ‘Girls’ Night In’ events for GirlCrew.
The original focus of GirlCrew was on ‘meet ups’ outside of the home but as the community grows and builds, members of GirlCrew have started to organise a variety of ‘Girls’ Nights in’ events. With no girls night in complete without a takeaway, JUST EAT will provide much needed sustenance through the provision of takeaway Gift Cards to official GirlCrew ‘Stay in’ events, as well as surprises and promotions throughout the year for members.
Speaking about the new partnership, Amanda Roche-Kelly Managing Director of JUST EAT Ireland said: “GirlCrew is such a terrific initiative which brings women together to forge potentially life-long friendships. We know that every night in is enhanced with a takeaway, and with over 30 cuisine types on JUST EAT, there really is something for everyone. Whether the girls are meeting to watch a movie, to play Xbox, to play old fashioned board games or simply for a chat we hope their night is enhanced by the arrival of a takeaway. GirlCrew and JUST EAT are ideal collaborators, as both enable people to enjoy themselves and have fun.”
Speaking from GirlCrew, was co-founder, Pamela Newenham who commented, “Food, like GirlCrew brings people together. As GirlCrew grows and evolves we have seen a demand among our members for a more chilled out night in style event, which is why we are delighted to collaborate with JUST EAT. GirlCrew is the easiest way for women around the world to make new friends, and JUST EAT is the easiest way to get a takeaway so the partnership really is a great fit.”
