Microsoft announced it will hire over 100 experienced professionals and graduates, and an additional 60 interns for a diverse range of positions and opportunities in Ireland.

The company is recruiting people for a range of positions, including service, process and software engineers, data analytics experts, program managers, finance experts, channel and technical account management, device demand planners, supply chain experts, operations, sales and marketing. All of the positions are based in Microsoft Ireland’s EMEA Operations Centre, European Development Centre and Sales business, and are based in Dublin.  Recruitment for these positions has already commenced.

Microsoft celebrated its 30th year in operation in Ireland this year and as part of the year’s celebrations the company announced its new €134 million campus plans which will result in all of Microsoft’s operations coming together under one state of the art building.  Construction is well underway. Having all groups in the same building will facilitate diverse teams working closely together, improving collaboration, innovation and growth hacking from the Irish based teams for customers across the globe.

Speaking today about the plans for 2016 Cathriona Hallahan (pictured), Managing Director, Microsoft Ireland said: “We’re delighted to offer this opportunity to 160 talented people to join Microsoft.  Our new colleagues will have an opportunity to influence how this vision is delivered for customers across the globe. Microsoft in Ireland is a global hub for many parts of our operations and development teams. That means that there are great career opportunities for people – many of whom will have a European or global role while being based in Dublin.”
