Team Horizon Appoints Director of Operations for Engineering and Design

Team Horizon, the global life-science services firm with a focus on pharma and bio-pharma manufacturing processes, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lorraine Patridge as Director of Operations for Engineering and Design.
Lorraine brings a wealth of experience in project management, risk management and validation/quality engineering from the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, distribution and electronic sectors. Previously, she worked as the Senior Programme Manager with Team Horizon, where she consulted with pharmaceutical and medical device clients, establishing a proven track record in delivering lean process improvements for multiple clients.
She has worked on a number of new product introductions, which pioneer the use of design excellence methodologies in the establishment of new manufacturing lines encompassing technology transfer to European, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory and compliance standards.
Prior to Team Horizon, Lorraine has worked in principal technical positions in multi-national companies across the USA and Europe including Boston Scientific, Abbott, Medtronic, Hewlett Packard and Vistakon.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Applied Project Management from the Institute of Project Management of Ireland. She is also a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Certified Quality Engineer.
