JumpStart 2015 Winners Announced

The LINC (Learning and Innovation Centre) at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) announced the winners of their annual start up competition ‘JumpStart 2015’.

There are three category winners: Maryrose Maguire of RewardSync won the ‘Women in Business Award; GROOPEZE won the ‘Technology Award’; and Bia Nua won the ‘Innovation in Food Award’.

RewardSync is developing an innovative solution which rewards people’s media consumption of TV, Radio and Web based content. They have a  unique audience measurement service for Broadcasters which captures an additional layer of accurate viewership metrics and social insight analysis in real time. This rich viewer data will support our clients in growing market share and developing significant new revenue streams.

UCD and UCC graduates Aine Kinsella and Niamh Duffy founded Bia Nua in 2014 to offer knowledge, support and development to new and established food businesses. Using their experience and proven capabilities to add value to a number of Irish and European blue chip client food business in the following areas: manufacturing expertise; concept development; marketing support; project management. 

JumpStart 2015, now in its sixth year, awards over €25,000 in prizes including €10,000 in cash for the winners.
