Irish woman Jule Coleman has sold her company Hassle.com for €32 million to a German company Helpling.

Both Helpling and Hassle.com enable customers to book a local, vetted cleaner online or via a smartphone app. Customers can now find a local cleaner they trust online and within just a few clicks.

This acquisition will see them dominate the market across Europe and soon further. Together Helpling and Hassle.com will operate in 14 markets holding strategic cities such as London, Berlin and Paris.

Jules and her co-founder, Alex Depledge, will remain working at the company with Jules assuming the role of group CPO and Alex will have CEO responsibilities for English-speaking markets.

Jules and her team are mostly based in the UK, where the app was launched but Hassle.com is available in selected Dublin areas.
