Claire Smith Joins Bord Gáis Energy

Bord Gáis Energy has appointed Claire Smith as Consumer PR Manager within the brand communication team.
Prior to joining Bord Gáis Energy, Claire spent eight years in the marketing communications sector working across various industries within both Ireland and Australia. She held a senior account management role at a Sydney based PR agency for three years and before that, worked for Dublin based PR agencies.
Claire holds a degree in Management and Marketing from DIT and a post graduate diploma in PR and event management from Fitzwilliam Institute.
As part of the retail team, Claire will develop and implement consumer PR campaigns that support Bord Gáis Energy’s position as the helpful energy company. Claire will work with the marketing, sponsorship and internal communication teams to develop the PR agenda.
