Issue 29's Contributor Question: Favourite Book?

1. PATRICIA McGOVERN
Patricia McGovern is an Irish solicitor, registered trade mark agent and European trade mark and design attorney. She is Chairman of DFMG Solicitors where she also heads the Commercial Department and the Intellect Property Department. She advises a wide range of clients from small businesses to multi-national companies.

2. PAT KINSLEY
Pat is one of the founding partners of Neworld Associates, one of Ireland’s leading design and branding agencies. He is an active member in the Graphic Design Business Association (GDBA), Institute of Designers (IDI), Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) and a director of the recently formed over-riding promotional initiative Design Ireland.

A: My car's log book. It was the only thing I was able to save from the recent flood of Neworld's office.

3. KARLIN LILLINGTON
Karlin is a columnist and reporter on technology for the Irish Times and The Guardian. She has also contributed to a broad range of international print and online publications. She regularly comments on technology issues for radio and television in Ireland.

A: Pride and Prejudice. A wonderful balance between passion and control (both in the story and in the writing) and Mr. Darcy's first proposal to Catherine still makes my heart flutter

4. MOIRA CREEDON
After five years as Senior Finance Specialist at the Irish Management Institute, Moira launched Artemis Consultancy last October to offer financial advice and training to companies and organisations at both a national and international level. Moira holds an MBA from IESE Barcelona, focusing on business finance.

5. NESSA O’MAHONY
Nessa O’Mahony is a poet and freelance journalist. She worked in journalism and public relations for 15 years before returning to university to do a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Wales Bangor. She has published two poetry collections. She is a regular contributor to WMB, writes book reviews and occasional articles for The Irish Times and teaches writing and public relations at various universities and colleges around Dublin.

6. LIV MORGAN
Liv is a fulltime member of the WMB staff having joined the team over five years ago. Prior to WMB she was a freelance writer/journalist contributing to other business and specialist titles including The Investor, Business Ireland, The Garda Times, Maternity and Infant. Liv has a BA in Journalism from Dublin City University.

7. ANITA KERR
Anita has worked in the Communications business for over 12 years now, from Publishing through to Design Management. She currently works as a Brand Strategist for Neworld Associates, a brand building consultancy, and has contributed to both national and international publications.

8. JILL KERBY
Jill Kerby writes weekly personal finance columns for The Sunday Times, Daily Ireland, and for a number of regional newspapers in her syndicated column, ‘MoneyTimes’. The co-author of the best-selling TAB Guide to Money Pensions and Tax and the TAB Guide to Property, she also edits Irish Pensions Magazine (IAPF).

A: Favourite guidebook to Rome: Georgia Masson, Rome. No one should visit the eternal city without it.
