You can nominate someone for an Award or you can self-nominate. Use this time as an opportunity to reflect on your success and the success of other like-minded women.

Fill in each question on our application form and where you feel appropriate, elaborate on your response. All completed applications will be considered. Criteria will be applied and those who progress to the next phase of selection will be contacted for further detail. There is one Award only for each category indicated, although it is intended that there will be a number of short listed nominations for certain Award Categories. So believe in your ability and in your value to yourself, your family, friends, work colleagues and to society.

Closing date for receipt of first phase of nominations is: Friday 31st July, 2009.

02 WMBusinesswoman of the Year Award

The 02 WMBusinesswoman of the Year Award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judges’ opinions, has contributed to the success of her company. She may be an entrepreneur or an employee working at management level in the private or public sector. Passion, wisdom, vision and sound business ethics allow her to succeed. You can of course self-nominate.

Accenture WMBig Idea Award

We’ve all had a big idea or many big ideas but for some of us that’s where it stops. Those who act on an idea and progress it to the next level and beyond to become a tangible product or service are true entrepreneurs, true innovators. Here is your chance to get recognition for your Business Plan and bring it to the next level of development – Just fill in the form and see if you can realise your dream with a bit of help from Accenture and WMB.

WMB Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award

WMB Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judges’ opinions, has contributed to society. These ‘unsung heroes’ are selfless in their approach to work and life. They seek to generate ‘social value’ rather than profits. Their work is targeted at long-term change – change for the better. You can self-nominate.

HP WMB Entrepreneur of the Year Award

This Award will be presented to a woman in the Small to Medium business category who has achieved great results in her own business. She may have extended her business horizons, increased her market base and product range. But she will most definitely have improved her bottom line.
