Going For Growth, a peer-based support programme for female entrepreneurs, is taking applications for its 8th cycle.

From those that apply, 60 suitable entrepreneurs will be selected for participation in the new cycle. They will then be assigned a Lead Entrepreneur, who will offer them support and mentorship throughout the cycle.

The Lead Entrepreneurs for 2016 include Áine Denn, The TAS Group; Caroline Keeling, Keelings; Deirdre Smith, Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors; Heather Reynolds, Eishtec; Louise Phelan, Paypal; Miriam Byrne, City Analysts Ltd; Síofra Flood, Drop Kitchen; and Susan Spence, SoftCo.

The programme is sponsored by KPMG and Enterprise Ireland – there is no fee for participating and the Lead Entrepreneurs volunteer their time and expertise.

Paula Fitzsimons established Going For Growth in response to an initiative on women and entrepreneurship proposed by the NDP Gender Equality Unit in the then Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. She was the Boots WMB Empowering Women 2014 Award winner.

The deadline for applications is November 25th and you can register your interest in Going For Growth here>>
