Startup Gathering Begins Next Week

The first week of October will be jam-packed for business owners and entrepreneurs. Not only is the WMB Conference & Awards 2015 kicking the week off in style at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel but the nationwide The Startup Gathering 2015 runs from October 5th – 10th.
The aim of the startup gathering is to promote entrepreneurship and help develop word-class regional startup hubs as well as highlighting Ireland’s startup sector to global entrepreneurs, innovators and research and development teams.
Supported by Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through the Action Plan for Jobs 2015 and sponsored by Bank of Ireland, the Startup Gathering 2015 is aiming to be one of the biggest startup events in the world. Over 350 gatherings will take place across five days, five industries and five cities giving participants the opportunity to showcase their startups, connect to the supports and services they need, take part in networking opportunities and collaborate with other startups and established corporates.
Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford will all host events during next week and the full programme can be found here.
